General Terms

Hotel Accommodation :
Hotel accommodation is generally on "Run-of-house" basis. Every effort will be made for best alternate accommodation in the event when requested hotel is not available. In most of the mountainous region, infrastructures are with basic facilities and limited number of rooms. Therefore, visitors should not expect high or modern life other than to be with nature while in high mountains. The hotel ratings are given for general knowledge according to their capacity and service available in the respective area. The ratings do not necessarily reflect the same evaluation as done by other organization.

Hotel Bookings :
All bookings have to be done through The Himalayan Hotels & Resorts (HHR) Mumbai in India. Bookings are subject to availability of room. Confirmation & service voucher is provided upon the receipt of full payment. Normal check-in time on day of arrival is 1400 hours and check out time is 1200 hours. For early arrivals in the morning should reserve room from the previous night.

Season :
The seasonal months are: Mid of September to first week of January and Mid of March to mid of June. In the case of Kailash Mansarovar, Tibet and Ladakh the season starts from mid of May to mid of September.

Cancellation & No Show :
Cancellation & No Show policy varies from hotel to hotel or place depending upon season. All refund requests are subject to obtaining an approval letter from the Hotel. The Hotel/Resort reserves right to levy full cancellation or charge an administrative fee for the cancelled booking. There is no refund for Package tours partially utilized or no-shows for whatsoever reason.

The Himalayan Hotels & Resorts based in Mumbai, India also known as HHR will try to provide best service available in the area. However, Himalayan Hotels & Resorts (HHR), will not be responsible for any change or incidents occurred during the tour due to unavoidable circumstances such as: government restriction, political unrest, religious activities, acts of terrorist, road blockage, natural calamities, delay or cancellation of flight, sickness, accident, loss of baggage or loss of life etc. Therefore, any extra cost incurred by any of the incidents should be settled by traveller. In such situation, if any help is rendered by The Himalayan Hotels & Resorts (HHR) or its associates and employees by taking help on payment such help should not be construed as service and the tour operator will not be liable for deficiency of service.
